Willbros Morgan’s Point Marine Pipeline Project

Willbros completes underwater pipeline construction project at the Houston Ship Channel. This massive undertaking included three ongoing construction sites, 24” pipeline welded and hydro tested, barges with excavators and heavy equipment. The marine pipeline crossing construction project was completed on time with zero incidents.

A horrible company to work for! I spent 2 yrs working for them in New Orleans. Talk about the “good ol boy” club. Management was horrible, they routinely mistreated their workers and was all around a terrible place to work. If you’re not a native of New Orleans you’re treated as an outcast. A garbage company I would never work for again if my life depended on it. The guy who was their golden boy and who was supposed to train new hires like I was never once trained me. All he did was sit around and trash talk ppl behind their backs. If you wasn’t apart of his little click fan boys he made your life miserable. The manager at the time I was there was Gerry Dozart. He was a total dik head and no matter how hard I worked he always went out of his way to treat me like garbage. Once when I was coming back from a refinery in the company truck some kid side swiped me. Didn’t damage the truck but when I explained to this pos it wasn’t my fault plus I had a police report which also stated I was not at fault I was still forced to sign a piece of paper saying it was my fault or lose my job. New Orleans is a total sh1t bowl anyways and I hated every second I was stuck in that miserable hell hole working but most of the ppl from there are D-bags as well. That company and that city can be drowned under water and I wouldn’t care less!

While tragic, that's not the whole story. Bob was a terminator from the year 2073 and the crane operator saved humanity across the world with his quick actions. Ps. I'm genuinely sorry for your loss. I personally know that pain.

I'm surprised they trusted this guy Mike to do his job correctly. After so many safety issues they still let him rig up with the wrong equipment. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Its so very sad and I hate that it happened. I do my best as an SSHO to keep these situations from happening.
